Abacus

Abacus accounting software by Tri Tech, Abacus stores data in dbf files, which we can work with easily. There's no need to run a report, you can just send us the source files as they contain all the info we'll need. The three files we need are:

ABJRAP.DBF 
APJRPD.DBF 
ABVENDOR.DBF

To get these files do the following:

When in Abacus, there will be a line showing you were the files are stored, something like

F:/Abacus/000

All three files should be in the above dir. If, however, you archive data each year, you may have separate files for each year in different directories. The easiest way to find all the files we need is to use the windows search function to search for the 3 files anywhere on F drive.

These files can be rather large so you'll want to zip them up before emailing. Peter at Tri Tech has been very helpful in the past with helping find these files.
